This is a branding project for Hitachi group, which has a large number of group companies. The Group aimed to increase their presence globally, at the same time to make its many domestic group companies more unified. Gramco made careful research on both domestic and oversea examples, then developed a basic design system based on the result. We also helped develop a VI management manual (Hitachi Group Identification Standard, HIGIS *3), along with an internal penetration communication tool, which was made to prompt understanding of the new VI system within the Group (HIGIS Reference Guide, Japanese/English/Chinese version). Our client was the Administrative Office of Brand Communication in Hitachi HQ.(
