Gramco Shanghai held a seminar to celebrate its 10th anniversary on November 27th, 2014 at InterContinental Shanghai Ruijin Hotel. More than 200 top-level managers from well-known corporations and scholars attended the seminar, where they had lively discussions over the topic “brand revolution” and an in-depth exploration into future brand strategy trends in China.
Ten years have passed since the 1st Gramco special seminar at Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai, in September 2004, took place. Mr. Atsuro Yamada, Gramco Group President & CEO, Mrs. Liran Wang, Gramco Shanghai President and Mr. Peng Liao, Gramco Beijing President attended the 10th anniversary seminar and delivered speeches.
Mr. Yamada, President & CEO of Gramco Group, firstly offered his heartiest thanks to all guests who had been always giving strong support to Gramco, and said: “Ten years flies by. During these years, Gramco Shanghai & Beijing have overcome branding challenges while seeking win-win relationships with every business partner. This year we even signed a strategic partnership with Siegel+Gale, a distinguished global strategic branding firm based in the U.S. In the future, we will be able to have stronger partnerships in areas including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London and Dubai, where we and our partners will work together to deliver global branding services to our clients.”
Mrs. Wang, President of Gramco Shanghai, thanked all attendees for participating. Furthermore in her speech, she referred to her own experiences at Gramco Shanghai and expressed a deep feeling for it. When she officially became a member of the team in 2006, new branding businesses were springing up in the market. With a cooperative effort, the team has gone through various challenges and glorious moments. Looking back upon all the unforgettable memories, Mrs. Wang cherished the deep feeling for the company as her precious treasure.
Mr. Liao, President of Gramco Beijing, also delivered a speech. Founded in 2008, Gramco Beijing is mainly responsible for space branding category. In the past years, it has built sound relationships with quality clients including Lenovo. Recalling the growth of the company, Mr. Liao expressed his heartfelt thanks.
As representatives of long-term clients of Gramco Shanghai, Mr. Masahiro Ota, Executive Officer of FUJIFILM Corporation & CEO of FUJIFILM (China) Investment Co.,Ltd., and Mr. Norimasa Kitazawa, Executive Vice President of Pigeon Corporation & CEO of Pigeon(Shanghai) Co.,Ltd., spoke highly of Gramco’s professional services. In the seminar, they shared their insights into successful brand management with other audiences. For Mr. Ota and Mr. Kitazawa, Gramco’s service is not only about lending an ear to their clients’ needs, but more about taking their visions as Gramco’s own responsibility, being a part of their every marketing research session, and delivering custom-made solutions that based on current Chinese market situation, that best fit their clients’ needs.
In the end of the seminar, Mr. Ota, Mr. Kitazawa and Mr. Yamada had a panel discussion on challenges and chances facing brand strategies in China. All audiences shared the view, that the future development of their businesses can be expected with help of Gramco’s professional expertise & insight into Chinese market.
At night, Gramco hosted a celebration banquet. Guests could be seen everywhere having pleasant and enthusiastic talks, rather than routine business conversations.
