AGS is a corporation that provides IT-related system consulting and outsourcing and Internet-related services. Its major clients are educational, public and financial institutions centered in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Formerly called Asahigin Systems Co., Ltd., it changed its name and introduced a new VI system in July 2004 after spinning off from the Resona Group in April of that year. AGS was selected as the new company name because this abbreviation of its former name had already achieved extensive market penetration. The symbol mark employing "a" as a motif conveys an image of the advanced nature, promptness and reliability of the IT solutions the company provides.
