Lenovo is a leading Chinese PC/IT manufacturer that made news by purchasing IBM's PC division (ThinkPad). In laying plans for extending its business out into the world, the company began with a strategy for strengthening its store network inside China by establishing flagship stores in 2005 and 2006 that offer customers in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou a cutting-edge brand experience. The next step will be to disseminate the stores as a nationwide standard. Selected as a partner for this space branding project following a successful presentation suggesting Lenovo to adopt space branding, Gramco has continued to support Lenovo in various capacities up to the present.
